Alright……busy weekend huh…? Shouldn’t it be mandatory that ALL holiday weekends end with a 25 hour Sunday…? Thanks to everybody who came out to the SOLD OUT Matisyahu/Flobots/H.R. show Saturday night…it was an awesome show, and if you missed it, then well, you missed it. Slow early part of the week this week as we let the country take care of the election, and then we come back hard for thirteen straight days of music. Its a marathon of riches, kicking off Wednesday night with Gov’t Mule and ending on the 16th with Yes. In between we have everything from Anthony Hamilton to Silverstein to Nat and Alex Wolff. We are nothing if not eclectic. Okay, now back to Halloween for a minute. I think Amy Winehouse alone made the number of musician-based Halloween costumes skyrocket this year. Send us your best musician (PLEASE no Sarah Palin or Joker costumes…seriously, please) costume pics to contest@ramsheadlive.com, and we’ll pick one lucky winner to get VIP tickets for the Silverstein/Chiodos show AND the Norma Jean show.

WHAT TO CHECK OUT TONIGHT: Well, after the two hour SNL special, and before you get up and vote tomorrow, The Decemberists will be on the Conan O’ Brien show. If you got shut out for tickets to their show here Saturday, you can at least check them out there. Also, the Eagles of Death Metal are on Jimmy Kimmell’s show.
