Rams Head Group Tweets
Dear Sir or Madame,
I come with 8 years of graphic design experience and creative/brand management, as well as marketing consulting. I managed cross-functional teams of indirect reports simultaneously such as sales, client managers, contracts, and finance while overseeing my product at Blackboard Inc, CampusImpact marketing solutions platform.
In addition to managing marketing initiatives, from direct mail to creating each college/university’s card program brand identity, I also wrote all of the copy/text for my clients at Blackboard (everyone from Johns Hopkins to Dartmouth, over 60 colleges/universities a year), so that is another skill I bring to the table.
For the past year I have been a freelance designer and have gained even more experience in the fields of design and marketing, focusing on marketing for local DC venues. Please see my attached resume and references or visit my LinkedIn page.
Thanks,
Catherine

To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to be considered for a full-time, hourly or salaried, entry-level position at Rams Head Live as a Rams Head Live Marketing Manager. I am trainable, reliable and personable. I have great work ethic and I am striving to find not just a job but a career. I am hopeful that in my endeavor to further my education that I could also secure employment.
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Towson University which I received in 2009, along with two minors—Electronic Media & Film and Political Science, and currently taking courses to ultimately receive my Paralegal Studies Post-Baccalaureate Certificate through Anne Arundel Community College. These areas of study interest me, along with many others. I am currently employed but I would find it a great experience and opportunity to find an occupation within these fields. I am very eager to learn and to expand my horizons, attempting to make myself open to working in several different fields and an affable yet competitive candidate for many different positions in the job market. In all honesty, I believe studying several different concentrations better prepares me for any and all kinds of career positions. I have worked hard my entire life, both in school and in the work positions I have held, and believe I have strong work ethic. I have a vast amount of experience in working with people as well as customer service, and people and customers/consumers with whom I have worked or dealt know that I am ambitious with many goals. I am hopeful that my undergraduate studies and maintaining of a Bachelor’s degree can compensate for any lack of experience for a suitable position. I would like much the opportunity to share my ambition with a company willing to give me the opportunity.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my cover letter, resume and consider me for a position at your place of employment. I hope to hear from you soon if you are interested and I can provide you with my resume, as well. As I understand you are very busy, I will follow up with anyone who contacts me within a reasonable amount of time, either via e-mail, telephone or both.
Respectfully yours,
Megan N. Koch
And I might add, within my Mass Communication major I had two concentrations, which were public relations and advertising.
