When it comes to musical styles and genres, Bob Schneider is a daredevil of versatility – able to go from country crooner to screaming punk, salsa king to reggae mon, funk soul brother to white-trash rapper, all with perfect fluidity and commanding virtuosity.

Blues Traveler frontman John Popper has started a side project that’s quickly snowballing into a part-time band. With a sound that is a scrappy, and full of roots-rock, Popper created an extension of his work in Blues Traveler.

In a city overflowing with stellar artists, bands and performers, Grammy-Winning Anders Osborne is one of New Orleans’ favorite musical heroes. With his moving range of soul-baring rock, blues and ballads Osborne is an exceptional and singular talent not to be missed.

Affectionately known as the Godfather of Go Go, Chuck Brown combines Latin beats, African call and response chants and American Jazz, throwing in a touch of soul with a continuous drumbeat. This nonstop irresistibly danceable music is and has been a trademark of original creative music from D.C., and has made Chuck Brown a national treasure.

Finding inspiration in the righteous anger of punk rock and the socially conscious folk tradition of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg led the anti-folk movement of the ’80s. Bragg continues to draw a rabid following with lyrics that are bitingly intelligent and clever, as well as warm and humane, filled with detail and wit.
